H2Excellence Capacity Building Online Workshop

ATENA S.c.a.r.l., in collaboration with EVBB, is pleased to announce the upcoming H2Excellence Capacity Building Online Workshop, taking place online on 14 October 2026, from 10:00 to 12:05 CET.
The workshop will bring together vocational education and training (VET) providers, industry representatives, universities, research centres, policymakers, and other key stakeholders in the hydrogen sector to explore the current and future landscape of hydrogen skills in Europe.
The event will provide an opportunity to discover the key outcomes of the H2Excellence project and the main lessons learned throughout its implementation, with a particular focus on:
- Hydrogen skills in Europe today – current skills gaps, workforce needs and emerging trends;
- Training innovation – digital tools, learning resources and new approaches developed within the project;
- Piloting insights – experiences and feedback from trainees, trainers and companies across Europe;
- Micro-credentials – recognising hydrogen competences and supporting mobility and career pathways;
- European mapping – an overview of hydrogen training initiatives across different countries;
- The H2Excellence Knowledge Hub – a digital space connecting training, industry and innovation;
- Industry perspectives – real-world skills needs and expectations from the hydrogen sector.
The workshop will offer participants the opportunity to exchange experiences and perspectives with stakeholders from across Europe, learn more about the activities and results of H2Excellence, and gain insights into the future development of hydrogen skills and training.
