Atena accelerates innovation, deploys solutions for sustainable and accessible, intelligent and interconnected mobility.

Atena technology can sustaine Fuel Cell Electric Vehicles deployment without large investments in refueling infrastructures. FCEV light vehicles (e.g. bicycles, scooters and micro-cars) could be quickly refilled by replacing metal hydride cartridges.

Cartridges recharching/refueling can be accomplished by using automatic dispenser or by door to door service.

Atena begins its journey in the automotive sector:
Adler Group, in collaboration with researchers from the University of Parthenope and Atena’s technical team, has integrated Atena’s power units into a traditional vehicle, creating an innovative system for environmentally sustainable surface mobility, which can be optimized for intermodal transport while fully respecting the environment and natural resources.

The QUBO project represents a convergence and sharing of resources, know-how, and technological expertise, capable of driving research and innovation.

Yard Truck

Atena is part of the European consortium working to validate hydrogen technologies for port machinery, aiming to develop zero-emission solutions for port logistics.

Atena will develop a terminal tractor for ro-ro operations, powered by hydrogen fuel cells. Thanks to the H2PORTS project, the Port of Valencia will become the first in Europe to incorporate hydrogen energy to reduce the environmental impact of its operations.
