Its prototypes represent the most advanced technological frontiers in the fields of energy efficiency and environmental protection: modular power units based on fuel cells; reversible systems with high-temperature fuel cells for energy storage applications; and multi-energy systems aimed at optimizing the use of renewable sources.  <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fclab.it\">www.fclab.it<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The Smart Generation Lab conducts research, designs, and develops processes, technologies, and biotechnologies for clean energy conversion and energy recovery from municipal and industrial waste.
